How can I remove a grease stain from my porch?

I was taking out some grease the other day and I had sat it down to open the gate on the back porch and the pan of grease fell over and the grease got all over a part of the porch. And I don’t know how to remove the grease stain. So if you know a way to remove the stain please tell me. And the porch is made of wood. Thanks.

HELP: Is this mold or stain?

My housemates bought a kitchen table & chairs from kijiji – the kitchen chairs look really dirty but I don’t know if it’s just stain or mold.
If it is mold- what do I need to do?
Should we try to clean it or replace it…

Is there any way to bleach out stain on pine wood?

This is for an interior, built-in cabinet which is stained dark. I would like to lighten it up and keep the wood grain if possible. Since I can’t move it outdoors, toxic fumes are a concern. White washing doesn’t seem to produce desired results. Any luck with a process called "pickling"? Any other suggestions? Many thanks.

Please Help ASAP! How can I safely remove an ink stain on a wood table that’s been there for at least 24 hours?

We have a reddish- brown 0 brand new wooden coffee table, and recently under a decoration on it we found splattered giant ink stains. Apparently, there was a broken ballpoint pen (the dog bit it open) that someone placed under the decor and now the ink stain is dry and a bit embedded in the wood. Help, please? ASAP I’m begging you! My mom’s crying right now!
Thanks all- I used a bit of hand sanitizer which REALLY helped get it off, toothpaste a bit, a tiny bit of water and windex, hairspray <–(but it practically tore off the finish) so I refinished it with wood paint. But all in all, the stains are gone completely! Thanks SOOOOO much!!!

How do I remove a heat source stain from my dining room table?

I have two small white stains on my Ashley wood dining table. The stains came about after setting a hot dish on the surface. The pot holder I used was not thick enough to protect the wood. Does anyone know how to remove these types of stains? I will buy a product from a store but I prefer to use home remedies….Thank you in advance.

How can I remove a bleach & water stain from my hardwood floor?

We accidently spilled a bottle of bleach-based laundry detergent on our hardwood floor last week. We then mistakenly compounded the problem by attempting to clean up the bleach with water (hey, water should clean right?). Now our floor is covered with both white and black marks. I’ve read differing opinions on the best way to remedy the floor problem. Is there anyone that can provide some insight? Thanks for the help!

Have any experts been able to examine the phoney birth certificate?

I have heard there were kool-aid stains all over it.
The birth certificate thing is more of a metaphor for what a fraud in general Obama actually is.

Kool-aid in swimming pool?

Kool-aid in swimming pool?

My school is going to the local swimming pool on the last day of school and i wanted to pull a prank. I was going to pour blue raspberry lemonade into the swimming pool. Would this work? Would the Chlorine eat it up? How many would I need to stain like a 10ft by 10ft space? I want it to be not noticeable and to just fill a tiny area, I dont want it to taste good, Koolaid stains like crazy, that stuff is some of the hardest stuff to get off of the body. It will be hilarious if someone gets stained blue.

Does old stain need to be completely removed from wood floors before restaining?

I just pulled the carpet out of one of my upstairs bedrooms and decided to refinish the floors myself. I started sanding the floors but in some areas the stain is really difficult to get off. I was wondering if all the stain needs to be removed entirely before I attempt the restaining process. My fiancee believes the floors just need to be scuffed up a bit (so the stain will have something to adhere to)… but I want to be sure before I start the work on it as I’d hate to end up ruining them! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

kool aid on light beige carpet.?

My son spilled red kool aid on our light beige carpet. I have tried several things to get it out, nothing’s worked so far. Does anyone know of anything that will get it out? It’s brand new carpet (like only 3-4 months old) and very visible. I have tried Resolve carpet cleaner and another store bought cleaner and it didn’t even touch the stain. Thanks in advance for any information!!

Is it safe to store clothes in the basement? Will they become stained with mold or mildew?

We’re moving and i’ll be losing storage space in our actual apt, and will need to start storing the girls extra clothes, toys and other thing in the basement. Selling them isn’t an option, we’re not done having kids so we want to keep them. I’m scared to store things in the basement. I have them in plastic storage bins, but i’m worried they will somehow get mold or mildew stains on them…the clothes anyway. This might sound dumb, but can they get mold or mildew stains if they don’t get wet? Could humidity cause it alone?
