A salt stain remover for my suede boots?

Hi, i am wondering if there is a salt stain remover that i can make or something that i can do to remove salt stains from my boots. I wasn’t thinking and wore them outside when it was wet and they are untreated. I tried vinegar and water and learned on a different website you should only do that for smooth leather, and it didn’t work. So i need a different method, also one that doesn’t take out the dye.

- highest points for best answer! thank you:)

The best thing I’ve found is a stiff brush. Make sure the boots are completely dry and then brush the salt out. I think they even make special suede brushes just for this problem. Try Amazon.

suede just is not a good material for footwear, it gets dirty it rubs off, I just do not know why they makes suede footwear, buy the leather ones next time
