Any suggestions for getting out a grease stain after it has been dried?

I had spilt wax on my shirt. I used an iron and a towel and was able to melt the wax back off and the shirt looked great! THEN I LAUNDERED IT….and all these grease stains appeared. I have had shirts go into the wash without a grease stain and come out with them from the dryer, but by this point it's a little late to prevent them from being dried. Any suggestions? I'm tired of my favorite shirts being ruined….

Use WD-40 on the spot. That should take it out. Then wash as usual. Or use some mechanics hand cleaner. My hubby is a mechanic and he had some sales person recommend that with his hand cleaner. We bought a bottle of it and won't go back to anything else to pre-treat or wash our hands with.

I'm not sure where to get it from other than this distributing company.

Spray the stain with WD40 rub it in and let it sit for a bit ,then re-wash the shirt is you normally would.

soak in Dawn or Palmolive dish soap over night and then wash. It should take it right out with little effort.

I've heard that Dawn dish soap is supposed to take grease stains out of clothes.
