Baby Laundry soap and stains?

Does anyone find that baby laundry soap (Ivory) doesn’t get out the stains like regular laundry does? Any tips for the poop stains? I can’t remember having problems with our first.

Thanks!

Ivory and Dreft do not have the cleaning power that other detergents have, because they do not contain ingredients like enzymes that are necessary for excellent cleaning, as these are irritating to many babys’ skin. If you need to remove a stain, use a pretreater or a dash of Tide, and then rewash in baby detergent once clean to remove any irritating residues.

I have never used the "baby" detergents only because they are way to expensive , I use Arm & Hammer Dye & Perfume Free detergent.

But I have heard that it doesn’t work that well. What I do with the stains is take a Spray & wash Stain Stick and rub it on all the stains( Sometimes you have to scarp off the nasties off the stick) But let it set in and then wash, I found I don’t have any baby clothes that are stained. I love it .

the only detergent that i find that works on baby stains period is oxy-clean. ive used baby detergent, tide, all, gain, etc. and the stains remain but when i tried oxy-clean, the stains came right out!

I run an extra rinse with vinegar and it gets everything out. I wash my own cloth diapers and they are nice and white. Vinegar is great because it is super cheap and all natural.
