Honestly, use glass cleaner, such as Glass Plus. That’s what we always used when we were growing up, only because it takes it out awesome, and doesn’t stain or bleach the carpet. Even cheap glass cleaner works.

The only thing that works is products made specifically for pets. There is an odor that urine has that only your dog can smell. If you don’t get rid of that odor, she will think it is ok to keep going in that spot. The best one is called Nature’s Miracle. Don’t get the spray. Buy a large bottle and just soak the areas of the carpet that she urniated on.

I would be lost with out the little hand help carpet steamers. I usually just use soap and water, then run my little carpet cleaner over them.
I also squirt the pet stain stuff on it too, I just bought a bottle yesturday I never tried before for oders called kids and pets got it at walmart.

Growing up my mom always use shaving cream to get the stains out, and it worked great!! Just use the cheap, white, fomey shaving cream you can get for $2 a can. Let it sit on the stain for about half an hour and then scrub with a little soap and warm water.

For the smell, use natures miricle stain and odor remover. You can get a small bottle at any pet store for about $5-7 dollars.

equal mix of vinegar and water and a few drops of dish soap. let it soak and put towels over it and lay something heavy on it to soak up the rest.

We always use reslove & any carpet cleaner. You just spray it, whipe it up and let it soak in. Hope that works for you.

Nature’s Miracle is the best thing out there for removing carpet stains. But you need to catch them when they are fresh. If you let them sit too long the urine eats at the carpet fibers, and then you need to get a black light and find the accident portion of the carpet and soak it until the urine is gone or they will keep going back and peeing in the same spot. Then you will need to replace your carpet.

We quit using Nature’s Miracle and switched to "Petzyme" a few years ago.
[3 rambunctious doxies w/ ocassional markings]

It works just as well if not better, esp. on dried stains and it costs about 1/2 as much .
