Blood stain?

best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

I got blood on my jeans and I put them in the washer but it didn't come out. I'm afraid I might have used hot water. Now when I try scrubbing with cold water the stain will not come out. Is there any way to remove blood when the stain has already been in hot water??

Use hydrogen peroxide pure, not diluted. You can also use Oxyclean they both work great and will not discolor your jeans.

not unless you want to bleach it out.

Try oxy-clean directly on the stain.

you get this lundry soup and then you put it think on where the blood is then after you leave the soup on there for about 5 mins then you stick it in the washer and it has to be cold water. If that doesnt work then the best thing to do is to get another pair of jeans

    good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shout spray…spray it on,let it sit overnight and wash in the morning…best stuff on the market…it's tougher than 4 kids' stains.

I think you should try some peroxide with a toothbrush then soak them in some cold water. Next time before washing anything blood stained, just soak in cold water. My sons noses used to bleed on my new sheets, before I did anything to them I just soaked them in the kitchen sink with just cold water, and by the time I got back from work there wasn't a stain to be seen.

Put a paste of water and cornstarch, cornmeal or talcum powder on fresh spots; let dry and brush off, or, cover dried or fresh stains with meat tenderizer and add cool water. After 15 – 30 minutes sponge off with cool water.
    Hope this helps.

I would say that Fels Naptha soap would work, but I don't know about after being in hot water. Hot water cooks the blood.

You may, if everything here fails, want to contact a linen cleaning company that services hospitals. See if they have any advice. I am sure they have dealt with this problem

soak you jeans again in cold water lift them out , take as much water out off them as you can , be a could idea to do this in your bath then pour salt on the blood stain leave like this till you see the stain is starting to lift . when your sure the stain as gone wash your jeans on 30cÂș you might have had salt again but it will come out if not the first time then the next

When I used to work in a lab, we used hydrogenporoxide and it didn't damage the fabric.

  16. Tigger says:

Most likely not, especially if the jeans have been in the dryer. But you might try soaking the spot with hydrogen peroxide and letting it set before you wash again. You have nothing to lose at least.

    Good luck!
