    Hi,

I’m sorry to hear about your carpet! I had the same thing happen on my beige carpet but with a permanent marker! I surfed the net like a mad woman, but nothing worked. I finally tried the colorox bleach pen. It took the stain right out!

I paid about $4.50 for mine, but I was surfing the freebies today and I saw a link to get one for free!

    Good Luck!

get a carpet cleaner such as Prosolve. They can take out most carpet stains without ruining them.

    carpet shampoo will do it.

    no problem.

Try club soda to get it out and then soak up the stain. Even if it dries there, don’t worry. Get the book, "The Queen of Clean". She talks about how to get stains virtually out of anything. It’s unbelievable.

Blot with a white paper towel to remove as much of the stain as possible then neutralize with the white vinegar solution (1/3 cup WHITE vinegar to 2/3 cup of water). Saturate spot with white vinegar solution, using a spray bottle and blot to remove excess moisture.

Apply a small quantity of detergent solution to the spot. (To make the detergent solution mix 1/4 teaspoon of a hand dish washing detergent which does not contain lanolin or bleach with 1 quart of water; examples of safe detergents are Dawn® and Joy®.) Use a blotting motion to work the detergent into the affected area. If spot is being removed continue applying detergent and blotting with a white paper towel until spot is removed.

Rinse with tap water using a spray bottle, blot to remove excess moisture.

Spray lightly with water, do not blot this time; apply pad of paper towels and brick and allow to dry. (You put the brick or something heavy on the pad of absorbant paper or even an absorbant cloth

Do you know the hand cleaner that auto mechanics use.to get grease off of their hands? It comes in a round can and is thick and creamy….You would be surprised at how great it works on taking stains out of clothes and it would probably work on rugs too! I haven’t personally tried it, but it couldn’t hurt….Good luck!

YES! Well, at least I think so….I read a remedy that worked for me fantastically — use warm soapy water and soak the stain (soak it really well) sop it, not rub it– then take one or two wet towels and soak up the soapy water;then a couple of dry towels to help soak up the water.Again – just apply pressure on the area –DO NOT SCRUB THE STAIN – IT WILL SPREAD! Just soak up the soapy water you put over the stain. I did this twice and both times it worked perfectly! Good luck to you!

Coffee …it is not a stain…get a rug soak it in warm water pass it over few times rinsing it off with the same warm water until coffee disolves completely when it is almost out you can get a little bet of detergent and wash it off with warm water…remember coffee it is not a stain

I’ve been told that cream soda can take stains out. If it’s not cream soda, it’s something close to it.

Im a cleaning expert and professional in clenaing industry for 11 years. My Major customers are hotels and resorts. All seems to have these challenges. From my experience, the stain can only be removed if its fresh, once dry, its permanent.

If its fresh : apply non-bleach stain remover on the spot. Soak it for 4-5 minutes. This will allow the stain to break. Use a clean and dry cloth(towel is the best-100 cotton, white coloris the best to see the results), place on the spot and apply pressure onto the towel to absorb the chemical. Do this till the chemical is out. Obtain a bucket/pale/cup(make sure the container is clean) of warm clean tap water, apply on the spot. Do the same as above till the spot is completely clean- DO NOT SCRUB USING SCURBBING PAD, BRUSH, SHARP OBJECTS as this will damage the carpet.

If the stain is dry, cut and paste is the best solution. Get the carpet professionals to do this as they will have the right tools to do this.
