Can chocolate stain your teeth?

I don't drink coffee or smoke, but I eat dark chocolate alot. My teeth need whitening, but wondering if it's the chocolate?

    I've heard that chocolate can. But I think your teeth get stained over time no matter what.

    Eating a lot of sugar can eat away at the tooth enamel which can leave teeth susceptible to staining.

    Sometimes if you eat chocolate every single day, and you eat it ALOT of times a day. Then probably eventually it can stain your teeth. Especially if its dark chcolate becuase its the strongest chocolate of them all.

    Constant all day without brushing? Very likely.
