My house has 20 year old vinyl repllacement windows and we are currently having the entire exterior redone. Since the windows work great I cant see replacing them but they are white and do not go with the new colors. I want to stain them as paint would need to be repainted in time and Im not climbing up multiple stories to do it.
I tested a small area and it seemed to work but Im worried about it not being consistant. I dont want big color splotches here and minimum color sticking there.
Is there a stain that is perfect for this?
