I’m making a fire truck cake for my son’s birthday. I’m thinking of using kool-aid or jell-o to get a red color instead of a bunch of red food coloring that will no doubt stain everything a two year old touches. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Which is better?
If you have tried this, any idea on the ratio (frosting vs. mix)?
Don’t have time to try it out, his birthday is this week.
