i put on dark blue nail polish awhile ago without putting on a protective layer. now there is a stain on my toe nail. this has happened before but this time it wont go away. i have tried repeatedly to rub i off with polish remover but it hasn’t worked. any suggestions?

I am a fan of brightly colored nail polish, e.g. orange, yellow. But the polish seems to have sunk into my nails, as now my nails are a yellowish hue…Most likely from wearing it so much. Is there a quick and easy way to remove this?

The carpet is muli colored light and dark green that is mainly stain resistant. It only got damp because it only seeped through my area rug it’s pretty dry now and doesn’t look like it did anything.
