I was in the pool yesterday and when I woke up this morning I had orange rust colored stains on my fingers! My mom has it too and she was in the pool too. I think it maye have come from the ladder. I have scrubbed and scrubbed my hands but it won’t come off! What will remove it!?
Rust Stains Archives
I recently installed white roth iron fences along the front and back yard. It looks really nice and sure does makes house looks much better but just can’t keep the rust stain off fromt he posts. Specially the cross bar on top is leaking rust stain every morning and it runs down the side of main post. It’s red and it sticks out since the fence is in WHITE! How can I prevent this rust stains and how can I clean it off?
Thank you in advance.
The plate on the iron is clean and I don’t see any mineral deposits on the iron (it’s relatively new). Every once in a while, if I use steam, the iron leaves a little rust stain on the clothes.
I use distilled water, but I didn’t at first. The tap water where I live is somewhat rusty; is there any way to get rid of the residual rust that seems to be inside?
The pizza pan sat on our white counter top for two days, and it was wet underneath. When I lifted the pan, there was a big black and orange rust spot! I was able to scrub the black part out, but the orange stain remains. How can I get this rust stain out of my counter top?
They are white cotton capris, not jean material. the stains are just small streaks, the longest one is about 2 inches long. they got the rust from the dryer. they have been in the dryer 1x after they got the stain. I have tried oxyclean, bleach, and kaboom nothing has worked. i love these pants and would appreciate any suggestions.
I have an interior water softener, but all of my outside spigots are not connected to it. When I water my lawn and the water hits the gas pig (white) or the siding (white) it puts a light rust stain on them, which doesn’t wash off very easily.
Is there a simple way to prevent those stains…other than the obvious-not letting the water hit those things, lol….??
Thanks.
My old washing machine seems to be giving some of my clothes rust stains. I’ve tried to remove them with bleach (for whites), detergent, and stain removers with no luck. Short of buying a new machine, is there anything I can do?
I left an iron pan soaking in the kitchen sink and forgot about it. The pan left a small rust stain in the white cast iron sink. Is there anything I can do to get the stain out?
Comet/Ajax isn’t up to the task. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I have a pair of cargo pants and I leaned up against a rusty railing, so now I have this orange rust stain on them. So far I have tried letting them soak in hot water, and have used shout at least 3 times, letting it sit, and then washed them again, and the stain will not budge. Anyone have an idea how to get these stains out of here?
i have a pair of new shorts i wore to the beach, that now unforturnately have rust stains on the pocket. i left some bobby pins in the pocket and the shorts were wet, and were forgotten about. when i actually came around to doing laundry, the damage was done. its a very big, red rust stain on the pocket. any suggestions for getting the stain out? these are brown plaid shorts. i’ve read about using lemon and leaving it outside in the sun, but i’m afraid that that will bleach my shorts. any suggestions or cleaners will be helpful.
already soaked in vanish
thanks so much.
