Wax Stains Archives

I don’t know how to get it off :(

It’s been on there for a few weeks. didn’t notice it. Is there something I can wash it in?

I washed my black Ford KA and waxed it but some wax got onto pretty much every one of the plastic bumpers (I thought I could just wipe it off). But it looks as though I might have wax-stained bumpers forever now as I’ve tried using soap and water and it doesn’t make a difference. Does anybody know if anything works or if there is a specific product I can buy. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

My friends son came over ate that cheese and thought it would be cute to put that wax on my fricken patio. Now there are huge red wax stains on my wall. Im so mad. Please help

Will try to remove them today with a green scrubbing pad.

I waxed my car and left it on for too long. Now there is a white chalky haze allover ther car, which is v hard to remove. I tried everything from hot water to scrubbing. It is allover the bonnet and metal parts aswell as the black trimmings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey guys, i just finished waxing my car and i noticed i got a bit on my shorts. Does anybody know how to get this stuff off?

the candle wax stain has been over 7 months but i dont want to discard my tshirt

Can anyone help me /

I have a big wax stain on my tee shirt and I want to remove the wax. I did already throw it in the washer and dryer and the wax is still on there. Please tell me how to remove the wax.

My daughter accidently spilled candle wax on her favorite shirt. She got the hard parts of it off, but the shirt still has a waxy feeling and you can see the white colored wax on her black shirt.
The shirt is 100% cotton, Is there anything that she can use to remove the candle wax stain off her shirt?

Sapphyre

I had a candle lite dinner (no light over table) blew the candles out…the puddle of wax went every wear…on the wood table ( I ironed that with a towel ) but the cloth mats did not release the wax stain. Now what?

Or perhaps something else altogether?
ink! I forgot how hard a dark ink is to remove.
"There’s nothing undesirable I cannot remove without regular soap or state soap"

Then you have never had mustard or ink on your clothes.

Candle wax was spilled all over our tablecloth, and I was curious if anyone had a suggestion on what to do before running it through the washer.

I was making candles for Christmas presents this year and when I got back from my family’s house I realized that the dark green candle wax I used had splashed out onto the counter top. The wax came off but now there are little dark green spots all over it that won’t come off no matter what I use. Any magical remedies you have would be very helpful.

Some wax melted out of a cup onto the seat of my car and I got most of it off, but now there’s a wax stain. My seats aren’t leather, they’re just the normal matireal, and the wax is that weird, squishy, jello-like wax. How do I get this off?

I have a scarlet red sweater that somehow got riddled with candle wax and when i tried to get it out some of the wax was still there. I tried the iron and paper bag solution and it somewhat worked but when I washed it there were ugly brown marks left over like oil marks from the candle wax. Is there any other solution that I can use to get this ugly second stage candle wax stain out?

O/I:The sweater is a custom design red hoody, 80% cotton, and 20% poly if anyone needed the extra information

…use polyurethane. Does anyone know a good "how-to" guide for doing this properly?
The hardwood is some kind of ligth oak. I have rough sanded, because the old finish was very rough and, basically, a mess. But I have still not done the final, smooth sanding, so hopefully I can still take time to research my finishing options…
