I accidently spilled some choclate ice-cream on my white volleyball shirt. I need it for tomorrow and I don’t have time to wash it, so how can I remove the stain without washing?

I worked at an ice cream store in high school, and NEVER put hot water on a chocolate stain! It will set the stain. Cold water, and laundry soap directly on the stain should do the trick. Use an old tooth brush since you don’t have time to launder the entire garment. If the stain is stubborn, try cold water and a bit of oxyclean powder that you have dipped the toothbrush in. Good luck!

    Tide to go!

For real, that stuff is magic.

Oxyclean – just soak it a while, scrub with brush, and rinse.

Very easy! get some bleach and rub it in then wash.

You do not say what your shirt is made of? I’m assuming its a synthetic of some sort. If its a synthetic do not use bleach or oxy-clean on synthetic materials, it will partially melt them. Try the suggested tide to go, but I have real doubts about it working well. Its a cream and fat stain and needs to be removed with hot water and detergent. Take stained area and boil a kettle of water, take boiling water and pour from a height onto fat and chocolate stain, scrub with detergent rinse with hot water.
