Coffee stain in the dishwasher?

The inside of my dishwasher has a brown coffee-like stain all over it. I'm not sure how it got there -but it can't be good, right? It has been there for awhile… any advice on getting rid of it?

I know a lot of people who use bleach for this.

If you have brown, black, or red stains in the dishwasher, take additional action. Start the dishwasher on rinse and then open the door and add a half-cup of rust remover to the water. Then let the cycle finish. You can buy any of these cleaners at the hardware store.

It sounds like a hard water stain. I believe (but be sure to read the directions first) you can put a little bit of CLR in the dishwasher and run it (without dishes in it of course). If that doesn't do the trick, you may want to have it looked at.

you have two options #1–use some grease lightning let it soak then rinse it well if this don't bring it out ,your gonna laugh but we have done this in the shop #2– paint it with krylon appliance white

Try running a cycle empty with a cup of bleach, that should do it if it's coffee. If it's still there run another empty cycle with a cup of Tang or dry lemonade mix.
