Does anyone know how to antique using stain on top of paint?

I am painting a set of oak floor cabinets and want to antique the verde green with stain. Any easy ideas?

    Look up the term ‘faux’ (pronounced ‘foe’) or ask at a paint store about it.

    I think you need to sand it down to get rid of the green prior to staining them. The stain container should have instructions on it or ask the person at the paint counter.
