Does anyone know how to get a stain out of a black granite counter top?

I set the lid of the laundry soap bottle on the kitchen counter and it left a stain. I’ve tried dish soap and water with a non-abrasive scrubbing pad but it doesn’t seem to work…

    It shouldn’t stain it at all. Have you been sealing your granite like you are supposed to? Try windex and let it sit on the stain for awhile.

    it depends on the kind of stain..but i learned (and i do this) i learned that if u put a little perfume on a paper towel and rubbed it on the stain and it came out! i do this on counters, some tables and some other hard surfaces and it works great…hope this helps!

    Most sources say to use a poultice. See link. Keeping it sealed is the best way to avoid future problems. Good Luck.
