Does anyone know how to remove a rust stain from Flag Stone in the exterior of the house?

We have flag stone in our driveway and entry way, one of the stones has rust stains on it due to a pot we had, does anyone know the best way to get rid of the rust stain without damaging the flagstone?

    oxylic acid, but test a spot first!

    try a bit of clr on a tiny bit of flagstone that is out of the way so you can see if it discolours it at all. if it doesnt change the colour, then use that.

    Muratic acid is the best way and the cheapest. Muratic is available from most home centers or hardware stores. The "Rust" you are talking about is most likely Iron that is naturally found is the stone and the stain may come back. The directions for use are on the acid container
