my friend brought home a bottle of red wine and i noticed as we were drinking it, our mouths were darkish purple..
of course thankfully it was close to bedtime so brushing and mouthwash helped but is it like coffee, will it forever stain your teeth?

Yes, its common knowledge that it is a very bad stainer like coffee. But if you drink some water and flush your mouth after you drink red wine it helps with preventing the staining. The water takes out the fluid and then helps produce saliva which protects your teeth from acidic food and drink.

    Peace,

Over time it probably will, but if that's the first glass of red wine you've ever had, I wouldn't worry about it.

Worse than coffee, but it is really good for you(lots of antioxidents) AND tastes good so sigh, you can't have everything!

i guess over time if you really drink a lot it will especially cheap wine, but so what as long as you have a good time just keep on brushing and use a very good brush and toothpaste.
