Last night I was at a football game & it was raining..I had a red colored piece of paper in my back pocket and the ink bled and stained my whole pocket PINK!! ): How can I get the stain out?

Someone on here said that hair spray could work.. has anyone heard of that? if you have..does it matter if you put the hairspray on while wet or dry? (the pants are wet right now because I tried to scrub the stain out with soap.
