HELP! i need something that will remove greasy wax stain spots from clothing.?

i accidentally washed my clothes with surf wax in my sweatshirt pocket, and now they all have greasy looking stain spots all over them. i've repeatdly washed them, and i dried them once : / they were all brand new clothes!!!
i tried grease lightening, but it didnt work. PLEASE HELP! any ideas?

    Dishsoap has always worked great for me on grease and wax stains. Let the clothes soak in dish water and/or treat spots directly.
    It is going to be much harder since the clothes have been dried, but sounds like anything is worth a shot now.

    try goof off in limited quantities. you can get at any home improvement store. SMALL amounts the stuff reeks to high heaven but it does works
