Any laundry detergent will work, but add Oxy Clean or even baking soda, to your wash. It will help with removing stains. Stain sticks and stain sprays will sometimes work.
Stains that are fresh have a better chance of coming out, then one’s that have been "set" in.

Hot water with a little Clorox bleach and half the recommended dosage of laundry detergent for your whites.

Final rinse cycle the best product that I found to keep my whites totally white is Mrs. Stewart’s Bluing. This stuff is amazing. Find it online at http://www.vermontcountrystore.com

Key: DO not overload your machine. Clothes need to move freely in order to clean better.

First bleaching your clothes all the time will yellow them over time, I find over the years the expensive stuff was making me and my boys breakout, so I bought Purex and The dryer sheets and a few time a week bleach whites and then you add bleach too your colors in the water before adding clothes you have not only clean clothes but whites, and all your colors last too… So I hope this helps..
