Help with a laundry stain????

best stain removercleaning suppliesjanitorial suppliesremoving stains

Has anyone had any luck with getting the orange/red baby food out of clothing? I have tried OxiClean, Shout, and Spray and Wash and none of them seem to take out the spots. I have not had any problems with any other stains beside these.
This is for one of my nephews tops. My sister doesn’t seem to want to listen when I tell her to use a bib because she thinks that I can get anything out of clothes so it shouldn’t matter.
I don’t have any problem getting spaghetti sauce and raviolli spots out of my nieces clothing.

if the clothes are white with some color, and the stain is on the white of the fabric, try the clorox bleach pen. if the clothes have color, try the stuff called mean green. It’s in with the cleaning supplies. It works great on stains. hope this helps

try rubbing it when you putting it on.
or letting it soak for 30 mins.

These are the hardest to get out. If you gt it the first time you can get it out but once it is washed and dried into the fabric you cn’t do much about it.

Try finding Fels Naptha soap. It’s an old-fashioned bar/laundry soap. It has taken out numerous stains for me.
Good luck!! Once you’ve put the clothing through the dryer, it sets the stain, so check the item before drying.

i know that you are not supposed to use bleach on colours, but i sometimes have too and have had luck with that method. Also, if you hang the item outside on the clothes line, the sun can sometimes "bleach" the stain out. Good luck!! (Most of the time when my kids ate anything like this, i would take their shirts off and jut put a bib on them!!)

Dish washing liquid usually works right away–wash it in cold water by hand immediately. Whenever I do orange/red baby food or Spaghetti O’s or Ravioli or whatever, I just strip them down-the stuff stains their skin, of course it’s going to stain their clothes. Reserve oranges and reds for at home and go with the others when you go out to eat.

I wish i could sue baby food companies whom have ruined so many of my kids’ clothes.
In extreme cases i have used Dylon fabric stain remover,it’s ok,much better than all the Oxi rubbish, which dosen’t shift much.
Surprisingly enough,i found a product called Astonish helps, they do a range of products,i use the powder,it works for me and isn’t tested on animals, recommended by both BUAV and Peta,so give it a whirl.
