How can I clean up a blood stain?

My girlfriend and I just had sex together for the first time, and I think I made her bleed (actually, I know I did, because there is a small pool of it on my bed).

How can I clean this up without putting the bed sheets in the wash? I can’t let my parents know or they will be uber suspicious.

Please help me out. Will really strong soap and a sponge work?

Buy a new sheet or wash it using -

    * Fresh blood stain removal -

    1. First flush as much of the blood away in cold water.
    2. Wash with any laundry powder or "Woolite for woolens" in cold water (Temps >35 C or 95 F set blood stains).
    3. Then rinse with cold water.

    * Set blood stains (Yellow rust like stains contain iron) -
    - The following chemicals don’t attack fabric (cellulose fibers).

For set blood stains, a Phosphoric or Oxalic acid containing rust removers (Try RoVer, Whink – Home Depot) can be used to dissolve stains. Rinse twice with warm water.
Then wash as normal with laundry detergent.

    Good Luck!!

soak it in really really cold water, if you have oxi-clean or any kinda of laundry stain removal – add that to the water soak. best thing to do not to let your parents know is to spill some o.j or koolaid over the blood stain then take your sheets off and take it to the laundry room and tell your mom that you spilled

Next time, put a towel under her. Anyway, first soak up any pooled blood with something disposable like toilet paper or paper towels (if you can use toilet paper, you can flush it down the drain), then go out and get the tide stain stick they advertise as removing stains instantly. Should do good enough to get you to the next wash day.

Oh no poor you! And her :o S
After spending money in the past on blood stain removal stuff I have found that in fact all you need is cold running water and a bar of soap – rub the soap on, massage it in a bit then rinse and repeat! Hopefully you can do this in the bathroom without being seen by your parents?
    Good luck
