    Cool the affected area then scrape off as much as possible.Treat with a biological detergent applied to the back of the stain on a pad of tisses. Wash in the usual way.

    I have been in almost this same situation.
    Except, it was pizza sauce.
    I took hairspray, && CLEAR laundry soap.
    Spray the hairspray on first.
    Then rub it together.
    Then, put the detergent over it.
    Rub it together again.
    If neither of these work.
    Try using Spray-n-Wash.
    && Wash it by hand.
    Hope this helps!

    Biz might help. It is good on a lot of stains. Do not put in the dryer after soaking and washing unless you are sure the stain is gone.. Running it through the dryer can set the stain forever.

    Disclosure first…This can be dangerous.. so be careful..
    When I wash whites (not cream colors but white) I spray Tilex on the stain toss it in the wash and launder immediately. The sweater must be white or you could (or will) discolor it.

    You will need an enzymatic cleaner such as Shout or OxyClean.
