How can I get a dog urine stain out of my ivory cotton scarf?

My dog somehow managed to get ahold of my nicest ivory cotton scarf and peed all over it. I dont want to throw it in the washer because it has little fringe hangings on the end and Im concerned they will unravel. I tried to find something online but most articles are about stain removal from carpeting. Im worried these recipes will be too harsh on the soft, sheer cotton fabric of my scarf. Does anyone know of a nice delicate soak to get urine stains out of clothing? Should I use hot water or cold? Thank you.

    1. Use the paper towels to absorb as much of the urine as possible.

    2. Then make a solution of distilled white vinegar and hot water

    3. Soak for 35-40 minutes in the solution you made.

    4. Launder as you normally would

    For delicate Fabrics:

For delicate fabrics be sure to use a solution of distilled white vinegar and cold water then follow steps 3 and 4.

Not a guarantee, but try peroxide on it then wash with warm water, cold rinse. It will take blood out of white, so it may remove urine.
