How can I get a grease(Car oil grease ) stain out of Berber carpet?

    Try a product called "Simple Green" it works well on oil and grease stains. You can probably get it at your local grocery store of I think Auto Zone also sales it with the car cleaning products.

    Try this tip when cleaning carpet stains: Apply a generous layer of baking soda or cornstarch to greasy spots and leave overnight. After vacuuming, the grease should be absorbed. If there is any residue or discoloration left behind, blot with vinegar until the stain is lifted. A dishwashing liquid or detergent specializing in removing grease will also remove carpet stains that are greasy. Make a solution of half detergent and half water and spray directly onto the stain.     Blot up as much as you can with a clean cloth. Then use Dawn dishwashing liquid and water and keep blotting. Dawn is great on greasy stains. I used it to get spaghetti sauce stain out of light grey carpet. Good Luck.
