My nephew spill red juice on my carpet a few days ago and i've been trying all kinds of products to remove the stain. I used woolite, resolve, and i even rented a carpet cleaner and the spot still there.

if a recent spot. Pour 2 cups of salt on it (cover completely) let set about 2 days and salt will turn red with stain…simply vacuum.http://www.essortment.com/home/removeredwine_sluo.htm

You could try making a weak solution of bleach, but try it first on a part of the carpet that you can't see, like in a closet. Also, I find Oxyclean works really well, but for something this stubborn, you might need to go the bleach route. After you test it, if it doesn't discolor the carpet, then just apply to the stain and then get it off pretty quickly by blotting until dry. Good luck!

I work in the flooring industry, my husband is a store owner, so we deal with these type's of things often…Unfortunately..the stain may not come out. You could try mineral spirits. Apply to the spot and take a clean towel and dab..or step on it with your foot. Whenever you soil your carpet, always remember do not rub soil in to carpet, always dab. When u wipe the soiled area it causes the stain to penetrate faster and spread. That's what i would suggest. If that doesn't work the next best thing would be is if you have any left over carpet..you could have it patched. If you have other rooms in your home that have the same carpet, you could maybe take a piece out of a closet. Call your local flooring store..and they will patch it for a minimal fee. anywhere from $60 to $100. good luck.
