While I was taking a shower, my dog somehow got a pen, chewed it and tore it into pieces and the ink came out. A little bit was on his bed and a little was on his fur. It was a Bic pen and it’s black ink. How could I safely remove the ink stain?

You could cut the hair off, or bathe the dog.It should grow out eventually.

If it’s a small spot, you could try a small amount of nail polish remover. Give him a bath. Eventually it will fade.

Hairspray, the kind that comes in the aerosol can can dissolve the ink. Blot the ink into a rag or paper towel. You then can wash the dog. I would just shampoo the dog because the dog might think that you are punishing him or something if you use hairspray.

White distilled vinegar is a popular household cleanser, effective for killing most mold, bacteria, and germs, due to its level of acidity. Cleaning with white distilled vinegar is a smart way to avoid using harsh chemicals. You’ll also be glad to know that it is environmentally friendly and very economical
