How can I get an ink stain out of my shirt?

I got a big ink stain from a blue roller ball type pen on my brand new shirt. The fabric is mostly cotton. I tried Tide Stain Stick and it did nothing. Any ideas?

    Try some rubbing alcohol.Blot the stain.=)

    Resolve carpet cleaner. Spray it on, let it set for 3 minutes, scrub a bit and rinse it and wash and the stain will be gone. (: xx

    If it’s a colored shirt and you can’t bleach it, either use it as a work-shirt or tie-die it with more ink and call it a one-of-a kind.

    soak the stain with hairspray then wash.
