How can I preserve the canvas on my pop-up camper that has some mold areas?

I just bought a 1974 nimrod pop-up camper that the canvas has a lot of its seams that are fraying and coming apart. I have started to repair the seams by re-sewing them together. the canvas has some mold stains and some corrosion on the zippers. what can I do to clean and preserve the canvas from rotting any further, and possibly restoring it somewhat?

    You should clean the canvas with a mixture of water and vinegar, preferably equal portions. Do not use bleach as it will cause yellowing and could damage the fabric. After you are done cleaning it rinse it thoroughly and allow it to dry. To prevent mold from coming back always allow the canvas to dry before rolling it back up.
