    I don’t think I’d use nail polish remover, as that would likely bleach out the leather. I would try bending the stained area back and forth, until the nail polish gets brittle and cracks off. Failing that, then maybe try using a sharp razor blade to gently and gradually scrape the paint off.

    Nail polish remover is acitone which will remove the polish but may also remove the color from your leather (and if it the leather is really vinyl it could really be a mess).

    Use Goo Gone an orange-oil-based remover of acrylic, resin and grease stains that is safe on plastics and not as abrasive as razorblades.
