How can I remove a grease stain from my porch?

I was taking out some grease the other day and I had sat it down to open the gate on the back porch and the pan of grease fell over and the grease got all over a part of the porch. And I don’t know how to remove the grease stain. So if you know a way to remove the stain please tell me. And the porch is made of wood. Thanks.

Scrub with dish soap and water. Let sit for about 10 minutes. Then rinse well. Repeat if necessary.

Any dish soap works. Most people recommend Dawn, but I’ve found that any brand works.

    Good luck.

try a heavy duty degreaser and a stiff brush with a bucket of warm, soapy water (dish soap). spray or pour the degreaser on, then after it sets a few minutes, start scrubbing the daylights out of it with the soapy brush. Rinse it all well. You won’t know if you got it until the wood dries. Being that wood is so pourous, you may not be able to get all of the grease out.
