Let me know if you find out! I tried Hydrogen Peroxide, Vinegar, a million different carpet cleaners …. all to no avail!

    oooooo.

your best shot is to email the Kol Aid company,
tell them what the carpet was made of, and follow their instructions.

    OR
email the carpet company and get their recommendations for Kool-Aid,
    good luck.

One time, at my grandmas house last christmas, my baby sister spilt some, and this works! I takes a while though.

A product called "totally awesome" you can get it at any General Dollar store now.

It works on anything and everything – believe me, I’ve tried it all and this stuff works!!!

    Good luck!

Depends how severe and how long it has been there. Spot Shot is probably the best bet other than a professional carpet cleaning company which will be quite expensive. If you go that route ask them on the phone if they can guarantee they can bring it back to original color and how much.

You’ve got a red stain on your carpet?

And what were you doing at 7pm on the night of the 23rd, madam?

    Very simple club soda.

Use Gonzo stain remover or Foley’s. Then steam clean to get rid of any residual stickiness.

This looks like some good basic info for extracting red Kool Aid. http://www.proschoice.com/html/kool_aid.html

I found a product called Awesome. It really fits it’s name. You can find it in Dollar General stores/ Spray it full strength on the stain, let it soak in for a few minutes, then blot. Repeat as the red coloring will take a few applications to get out. It removed magic marker from my table and ink from my white bedspread. It is Awesome"

I dunno about kool aid—I had some rasperry jello spilled onto my biege leather couch. after trying soap & water, magic eraser and other stuff, I mixed up a solution of t.s.p. & water & it worked like magic. you can find it in any paint department. it’s an industrial cleaner
