you can try the oxy clean, but it may not work. I have never successfully gotten coffee stains out.

the last sweater I destroyed, I put in a kettle of coffee and simmered til the whole sweater was coffee colored.

I use super clean. You can get it at walmart in the auto supply dept. I spray it on, rub the area, let set for a while, then machine wash or hand wash it’s up to you how you want to wash it. but super clean is the best stuff i’ve found.

if its a wool sweater then I would soak it in cold water
It would be a good idea to read the label to see how to wash it
if you can use a stain remover it would be a good idea to test an small area for discoloration.

If its okay use that while soaking the sweater

a coffee and tannin remover from a janitorial supply or carpet cleaning supply. 6 bucks for a quart. coffee stains can be difficult because when cream and sugar are mixed together with the coffee, it becomes a whole new thing. no two coffee stains are alike.
