try dawn dishsoap on the stain and rewash.

Unfortunately, if the stain has been washed and dried then it may be already set in.

You could try some Dawn detergent, that is the best degreaser, you may have to work on it for a few tries to get it out.

    Adding this:
If this is a cotton or polyester shirt, you could try a little carpet cleaner. Carpet cleaner solution is made specifically for set-in stains. Make sure to rinse out most the cleaning agent before re-washing in your machine.

You could still try putting some Dawn dish liquid on the stain, but if you dried it in the dryer it’s probably set in. :)

I use Spray and Wash stick before I wash and if I don’t see it at the time of washing I use it after it is dried. Works for me. They also sell something for set in stains. Don’t know the name I’ve never bought it. Good luck

I’ve used Zout stain remover *after* washing and drying a grease stain and it came out from the shirt. Follow the directions exactly and give it a good scrubbing. Hope this helps!!

  6. Haydn says:

Put washing up liquid onto the grease spot, rub it in and wash again.

Keep repeating untill the grease comes out – it can take two or three washes.

Dishwash soap, apply it on the stain and let it dry, than wash the t-shirt. It really works.

Make a paste of Dawn dish soap and baking soda. Apply it to the stain and let it sit overnight. Then launder as usual.
