OxiClean and let it soak in the washing machine for like a half hour with warm water.
    It will look brand new

Depending on what colour the blanket is, you can try bleach with some laundry detergent. OxyClean may be another option for you. You can add it to your washing machine with your detergent (use warm/hot water) and let it soak for about 30 mins or so, then run the usual cycle.

Has the stain set for a long time? I would try the following suggestions as my methods start out mild to harsh:

    1) CLUB SODA:
If it’s new, club soda, seltzer water, or tonic can be applied and the stain blotted out. Alternatively, you may try rinsing it in plain cold water (NOT HOT! Heat will set a stain) until it runs clear.

    2) ENZYME CLEANER:
Tannins from red wine will stain red, so if it has set, the best thing to use would be an enzyme cleaner. You can go to any pet store and they carry these by the jugs and you can use it like bleach. If it doesn’t come out in one wash with enzyme cleaner, soak it in the 2nd wash.

    3) OXY CLEAN:
You can buy this from any store’s laundry aisle. It works.

    4) HYDROGEN PEROXIDE:
Hydrogen peroxide is the main active ingredient in a lot of store-bought stain removers. You can mix it with baking soda to make a paste that you can scrub into the stain with a scrub brush or you can mix it with with regular Dawn dishwashing detergent (equal parts) to make a gel stain remover.

    5) BLEACH:
This is only if all the other items fail, but I think you will be able to get the stain out before you need to resort to bleach.

Can also try soaking the fabric in boiled water and dish washing detergent.

It the stain is not fully set, and the blanket washable you can cover the stain with white wine. It will take up the red, and then wash the blanket.

If the blanket can’t be washed, then don’t do anything. Just take it to the dry cleaners. They can get the stain up. However, if you’ve added chemicals to the blanket they will not clean it. The mix of chemicals could be toxic, or flammable.
