    Mr. Clean Magic Eraser can remove finishes right along with stains. I don’t recommend it.

    Pour some liquid dishwasher detergent on the stain. Make sure you use the kind of detergent that has bleach in it. Allow to sit overnight. Then wipe away with wet paper towels.

    This even removed hair dye for me. It should get rid of the Kool-Aid stain.

    The advantage to dish washer detergent over Clorox? It will stay moist overnight and keep working. You won’t have to scrub. If you scrub it with anything abrasive, you will risk damaging the counter.

    Try magic eraser

    Use a little Clorox cleaner with bleach. I have been drinking Kool-Aid for 35 years and it has never left a permanent stain.

    DA MAGIC ERASER THINGIE FRUMM WALMART

    Clorox Household Bleach does the job…it’s going to take some scrubbing with the rough side of a sponge

  6. Tapestry6 says:

    Mix equal amounts of ammonia and hot water.
    Spray the stain.
    Take a towel and place over the stain.
    Go over the towel with an iron on its highest setting and watch the stain transfer!
    another way:
    Make a paste with three tbsp baking soda and one tbsp of water. For larger stains you may want to double or even triple this mixture.
    Use a damp cloth to gently rub your paste into the stain.
    Count to ten before wiping away the paste.
    Repeat if necessary until the stain disappears (I’ve never had to do this more than twice).

    Well, you MIGHT be screwed, depending on the material of the counter, but, one time I made a really nasty red stain from my girlfriend’s bright-red sweater that I had washed in the sink with wool-lite. Turns out the dye bled really badly, and I thought I would never be able to get the red stain out of the white sink.

    So, after trying EVERYTHING, I sprayed it with "scrubbling bubbles" (I think they call it "Foaming Bathroom Cleaner" now) and I couldn’t believe it, but the bubbles turned red in about 3 minutes, and had pulled up 80% of the red stain! I did it a second time, and it was gone!

    Try that! If your countertop is made of a similar material to what that cheap sink was made out of, I bet this works. The red dye is pretty much going to be the same thing, whether or not it’s kool-aid or clothes.

    wet some paper towels and SCRUB.

    I read most of the answers and make sure that whatever you try, you first try the product in an inconspicuous place on the counter top. The last thing you want to happen is for the cleaning product to damage the counter top.

    Also, make sure you do not use anything abrasive, the counter top can be damaged this way too. You can rub the sheen off and you will see a spot with no shine.
    Gentle with the magic eraser too, this could cause the shine loss. Dampen the magic eraser before trying it.

    I would try some OxyClean made into a paste or baking soda in a paste. Allow to set on the stain then wipe off and see if it lifts the stain.

    Here’s How:

    1. Sprinkle baking soda on a damp wash rag.
    2. Rub the stained area with the rag in a circular motion.
    3. Repeat if necessary.
    4. If stain is very stubborn, sprinkle baking soda directly on the stain, rub with damp rag.

    Tips:

    1. Baking soda is mildly abrasive, but not as harsh as abrasive cleansers.

    What You Need:

    * Baking Soda
    * Damp Rag

    Take a small rag the size of the stain, put it over the stain, wet the rag with bleach. Put an upside down glass (or a bowl if the stain is large) over the rag to keep it from drying out and leave it over night. It shouldn’t hurt the formica.

    hi…i am goin to suggest u just soak the stain with vinegar…i use it to clean dirty ashtrays…it works better than anything else. soak it and leave it for several hours…if it starts to dry, add more. if that does not work, try hand cleaner like mechanics use (it is not gritty) i use it for all kinds of laundry stains and it works great. rub it on, let sit for a half hour and wash off. these are both inexpensive cleaners that work for just about any problem i encounter. good luck!
