How do I get a baking soda stain out of my laundry?

I washed some dark purple sheets with baking soda, by online advice, but it seems the baking soda got stuck on the sheets in clumps and made white stains which I didn’t see until after they came out of the dryer. Help – can I get these stains out somehow?!

  1. BERT says:

Let them soak in water and white vinegar and then launder.

You should have put the baking soda in as the water was filling up. Let it swish around a bit to dissolve, then put you sheets in.

Try using cold water, put the sheets in and let set overnight before rewashing. Hopefully that will do the trick.
