lay paper towels over the spot, and iron over the paper , it'll absorb the wax.

  5. Elena Rose says:

Cut it out with a pair of scissors is the fastest way.

  6. John says:

Use "Hot Shot" carpet stain remover. It comes in an areosol can. It works great on almost all stains even if the stain is not in your carpet.

  7. Cid Young says:

Place some newspapers beneath the stain, covered by an old, absorbent towel. Then place another clean paper towel on top of the stain, cover that with another old towel. Heat up an iron and place on top of the wax spot covered by the towels. As the heat melts the wax, it should absorb into the towels and papers.
    Voila!

Get a paper bag and put it under and over the wax. Then press a hot iron over the bag. Eventually the wax will melt making the bag oilly. Once the wax if removed wash the table cloth as you normally would.

OK for all you people who have never droped wax on anything here is the correct way to get wax out of or off anything!!!!!
and trust me on this i run a business with wax candles.

all you need is an iron and wax paper, or paper bag
whatever the item is (rug, cloth, wood, etc.) then use the wax paper or paper bag then run the iron over it and the wax will come out.

the person who said to use a cloth and just keep changing out the cloth is not very bright why would you want to ruin your cloths????
