How do I get a chocolate stain out of white carpet?

My dog ate a full pound of chocolate and now it has ended back up on the white carpet. I was wondering what I could do to get the stain out. Thanks.

    Vinegar. Trust me it works. You have to dab it with a towel for a while until it comes out. (DAB IT DO NOT RUB) Rubbing it in is a no no :D lol It smells for a while after but at least the stain'll be out, right?

    Ok done that been there .
    take paper towel and an iron. place paper towel on top of stain iron paper towel. fold over and keep going until no more stain remains.
