I’m assuming carmax is chapstick, right?

    Chapstick Stains on Clothing

I have fought Chapstick stains for years, and ruined countless articles of clothing with those tubes of Chapstick going through the washer and dryer and getting over every article of clothing in the laundry load.

After my daughter Danielle, (the Chapstick addict), once again left a tube of it in her jeans and it went through the washer and dryer, I contacted the manufacturer directly to ask for help.

They recommended Un-Du candle wax remover. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that works really well for removing chap stick stains out of clothing.

I wish I had asked them earlier for help. I would have saved myself a bundle in clothing costs, wasted time and energy, as well as avoided several outbursts from my Husband expressing his extreme displeasure with all those fun little grease spots dotting just about every article of clothing. It also appears melted Chapstick is especially attracted to items that are most favored, new, or expensive!

This is the real deal- Don’t waste your time and money on stain sticks, stain removers, or extra strength anything- Super hot water, powerful detergents, and concentrated cleaners will not do a thing! I have tried them all and I can tell you honestly and personally they won’t help.

Un-Du Candle Wax Remover works like a charm, and it is available in grocery stores. If you think about it, it makes sense too. The primary component of Chapstick is a form of wax.

Once you discover the stain, add a few drops of undu- Follow the manufacturers instructions- Let it sit for 30 minute or so. Wash with your regular detergent and the warmest setting recommended for the fabric. This product works great (and has restored peace in my home) and saved many articles of our clothing from the trash bin.

stains like that are pretty hard to get out once you’ve set them in with the dryer. however, I found once that this stuff called "Waterless Hand Cleaner" that they sell in hardware stores and automotive places works wonders on bad stains. I once got Sharpie marker out of my favorite skirt with it. I had to scrub it with a nail brush, but it got nearly all of it out.
