i think the comforter is cotton..it feels sort of like the material a polo shirt is made of. it's a really expensive comforter, it's pale yellow with a black grease stain on it now though, because i put a rolling chair on it for a minute to vacuum, not knowing that theres grease on a chair. how do i get the black color off?

First I would try an enzyme cleaner like Biz or you could try Oxy. If those don't work, try Dawn Dishwashing Liquid.

With each wash, don't dry it in the dryer until you're sure the stain is out. Once run through the dryer the stain will be set.

soak it with Simple Green and blot the grease off. Rinse the simple green off with water when the grease is gone.

I would start with very hot water, a degreaser, and a brush. I use greased lightning which works really well around the house. Don't let it dry especially after you've started washing it.

Dawn dish liquid is a great degreaser.:)

Do it the old Sicilian way, scrub it with a brush. Just kidding

Use the color bleach on it

I use a product called ZOUT. I haven't found anything it can't get out yet. You can get it at any big grocery store, spray the spot, rub it in, and wash it. Good luck.
