There are two products that will instantly remove red wine stains, WineAway and Mostenbockers Red Wine Remover. You can find WineWay at Cost Plus, Bed Bath and Beyond and Linen N Things. Mostenbockers is sold in the laundry aisle in most discounters. If you have some borax on hand, make a paste of it with water agitate it into the wine, it will turn blue, don't panic and keep massaging it until the blue fades away. Allow the borax to dry on the stain and vacuum up the excess.

Try white vinegar. If that doesn't work, try Resolve, but spot test both in a hidden spot first to be sure the material colors do not bleed or run.

I can only suggest this. Red wine stain´s are removed by poring white wine over the stain, So If you would like to try , then . Pour a little white wine over the stain , blot with kitchen paper. When your sure the stain is completely out , then with a cold water sponge wipe the the material. If you can then put the chair outside to dry in the sun and fresh air. Hope this help a little. But it might also be a good idea to ask in your nearest furniture shop. If it´s expensive , then you don´t want to damage it further. They might suggest you change to steam clean

OXY CLEAN!!! No dont use that stuff that guy is stupid….. White vinager on the chair……… Try asking a local cleaner for help if that doesnt work but it should. Or steam clean but thats pretty expencive but if your chair was pricy its worth it.

If the stain is fresh and has not been blotted or wiped, cover the entire stain with as much table salt as you can "Morton's" blue bucket of salt works well. In 12 hours, the salt will pull and absorb all of the wine from where the stain was. All you do is vaacuum up all of the salt the next day.

This will not work if the stain has been blotted, wiped, or treated in any other way. I did this trick with red win spilled on my white carpet. The biggest challenge was making sure no one at the party stepped on the salt or blotted the stain before I could get to it. The next day, it was like it never happened.

You need to put A LOT of salt down. as thick of a pile as you can…enough for all of the liquid to be absorbed.
