How do I get a year old blood stain out of a prom dress ?

its a polyester tan dress && its under skirt has blood on it && the satin outside does too.
i took it to the cleaners && they didnt help =(

    Peroxide will take blood out of fabric.

    Take it to the dry cleaners. Prom dresses need to be cleaned that way anyway. They can get any stain out pretty much if you let them know it’s there.

    try murphys oil soap. That takes out everything! put it on the stain and let set 5 or so mins. then had wash the spot.

    peroxide. DO NOT USE HOT WATER. Cold only if needed. I would probably take it to a dry cleaners and let them help you.

    I would take it to a dry cleaners, because you don’t want to stain or ruin the dress anymore than it is, they can do almost everything there, but there is a chance they won’t be able to get it out…. :( especially cuz its a year old. Good luck though!

    My solution is great, has worked in the past and is not likely to harm your clothes at all.

    Fill the sink with cold water. This is important. Add some salt. For a basin of cold water, I think a quarter cup of salt should do. Just table salt. Swirl it around, and let the part of your dress that got blood on it soak. You can run cold water over the stain too. You can rub the stain gently with your hands.
