Try peroxide, it works like bleach without discoloring the fabric. Just poor a little bit over the stain.

Try hydrogen peroxide next time, once a garmet it dried in the dryer, the stain becomes permanent :-(

Have you washed it with proper stain remover?
What colour is it? If the stain still doesn’t come out after a strong stain remover then maybe you should bleach the patch and then re-dye it.

Have you tried Oxi-clean yet? There’s also a generic by Sun at Walmart that works just as well as far as I can tell. Make the powder into paste, and spread on stain, rub in, and allow to sit overnight. Rewash, and it should come out…if you haven’t dried the garment yet. Drying sets stains into clothing. Good Luck!

Try soaking in some hydrogen oral peroxide. On the stain only. Always use cold cold water on blood stains when they are fresh. Put a little bit of peroxide first and them soak in ice cold water.

Try Vanish. That’s pretty good. Also you could try Stain Devils. They have them for all sorts of stains. Available from Robert Dyas, I think, or places like that. You could also try an oxygen based bleach.

Try pouring liquid laundry soap on the stain, roll them up and let them set for a week. Then wash them again. Try this first next time, and if the stain is still there, don’t dry them til you repeat the process. Drying them helps set the stain in.

Next time, right off the bat, soak them in ice water. It will get out a blood stain fast!

Here are two ways that I’ve tried and have worked well.
One is peroxide. It works best on fresh blood. Make sure you rinse thoroughly with water or it will leave a bleach mark.
The other (and I know it sounds gross) is to have to person who’s blood it is spit on it. Something with the enzymes in the spit break down the blood stain. I use this whenenver my daughter has a bloody nose at night. It works great as well.
With both methods, wash article afterwards in COLD water as hot water will set any residual stain that might be there and line dry the item.

You didn’t mention what color the pants were? If there white, I would recommend soaking them in cold water, after spraying the area with deluted bleach water……..If there not white, soak them in cold water with the area sprayed (before hand) with Shout!!! Good-luck, hun!!! If you have too use a scrub brush, with the shout!!! That always works for me, a little ELBOW Grease!!! Smile!!!

Is your pants white? If they are you can bleach them, then put them in the washer. Then after washing them don’t put them in the dryer. Let them dry on their own.
