how do i get an unidentified stain out?

after i did my laundry, some of my clothes had stains on them
[they didnt have stains before i washed them]. i dont know what kind of stain this is so i dont know how i could get it out. one of the shirts was 100% cotton and the hoodie was 80% cotton. if that helps.

    1st thing, treat the stains with some type of shout or other stain removal agent. While the clothes are sitting, do 1 load in your washer without clothes to remove whatever was in there. Did you do a load of towels or something dark before the load with the stains? Once you’ve cleaned out the washing machine, wash the stained clothes on COLD until the stains are removed.

    soak it in Napisan and wash after a day
