A cleaner containing muratic acid will work, but don’t try to use full strength. It will eat thru concrete.

    call police.

Go to a auto shop and ask for a product that cleans concrete. I used one a couple years ago but can not remember the name, there are lots of them so I suggest you go to a specialty auto parts store rather than somewhere like Wal-mart where you can get the information from a sales person that will know what actually works and what won’t.

I would try a high pressure pressure washer before i tried muriatic acid. Its very corrosive and dangerous if you have pets or children.

Muratic acid WIL NOT work – you don’t clean acid with acid!

Depending on the how old/deep down the stain is, you might be able to neutralize the acid with just baking soda, and use CLR or lime-away for the rust.

Deeper/long-term staining – I had to clean an industrial plant concrete floor that had hydrobromic acid (muratic acid is weak compared to it!) spilled on it over a period of 15-20 years. We pressure washed to remove visible, poured a concrete cleaning solution made for acids on it, pressure washed, repeated about 10 times. A few days later the acid still leeches up from the concrete, so you repeat again, until eventually you draw it all out.

costic soda may help and may seem daft but flat cola left on stain for 10 mins should help
