How do I get candle wax stain off of pine furniture???

One of my candles developed a hole in the side of it and the wax ran through and all over my pine coffee table. Once it hardened, I just pulldd it off with no problem, but now there is a red stain that wont come off of the table. Does anyone know what I can do to get this off?? Thanks so much!!

    Place a cloth rag or paper towel over the wax and place a WARM (not hot ) iron set on low on it. The wax will melt into the rag. Be care full not to burn the table finish.(when the wood is hot to the touch it is too hot.)

    Oxy-Acetylene torch, you would not believe what it can do, it will fix almost every situation in a household.

    place a sheet of plain white paper over the stain and then gently run a warm iron over the paper. As if by magic you will see the paper soak up the wax!

    hmmm sounds like its permanently stained….
