How do I get mold out of a bathing suit?

I forgot to dry my bathing suit after I used it, and now it has some mold in it.

It’s a black, lycra suit, so I don’t want to use any bleach. I tried hand washing it in laundry soap, but it still is slightly discolored and a bit smelly.

Anything I can do to get the mold/stain/smell out?

    You may try soaking it in mild vinegar water for at about 1 to 2 hours. Mix 1 part of vinegar to 3 parts of hot water. Rinse well then follow by normal laundry cycle. Hope it helps.

    Just machine wash it maybe add some fabric softener and a lot of dryer sheets another thing you can do is just run hot water over it for awhile then put it in the dryer.

    soak the suit in warm water and apple cider vinegar then wash with a good laundry detergent to get the smell of the vinegar out.
